GLASSBLOWING AND CASTING WORKSHOPS

 

I normally conduct weekend workshops in glassblowing and casting glass in
sand, in the spring and fall.  However, due to COVID I think it wise to not
conduct the glassblowing workshops because of the intense hand to mouth
activities.  We can safely proceed with casting workshops.  The workshops
will be one day with 3 people attending (rather than the usual 6) to
accommodate the social distance requirement.  That said, I trust that no one
would knowingly come to my studio with the virus infection.  The workshops
will be conducted on Saturdays unless you prefer to have a private workshop
which can happen any day of the week per my schedule.  Cost will be
$175/person and you can anticipate producing 4 pieces, possibly more if they
are not too large, since my annealing space is limited.  See my website

The schedule for this season:

November 7, 14, 21. (Saturdays) 11-5

Private sessions can be arranged for other times.  Cost for private casting
session is $500

ALSO, I will be exhibiting with HOBART, a small group of 10 artists, this
coming weekend 

(October 24-25) on Paul Steinbeiser's farm at 718 County Route 519
Frenchtown NJ 08825.  

Martha will be showing her beautiful, durable blankets made from our sheeps
wool.   Paul is a landscape architect and his farm is filled with amazing
stone sculptural forms.  There is an abundance of open space and you will
see artwork from jewelry to monumental stone and bronze sculptures displayed
throughout the farm.  Steinbeiser's farm is a grand open space, so there is
no social distancing problem due to covid.  Please wear a mask.  

This is perhaps the best weekend to enjoy the colors of the seasons change
and see some fine artwork in a stunning rural location.  The dropbox link
