Demonstration by Paul Stankard in the 
WheatonArts Hot Glass Studio at 1:00 p.m.

 

Meet-the-Artist- Reception in 
The Gallery of Fine Craft 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 


With this exhibit, glass artist, Paul J. Stankard unveils his most recent
work in addition to early work from the 1970s and 1980s. Paul's newest work
will include exciting new Orb, Column and Dyptych designs focusing on
botanicals and honeybees native to southern New Jersey. We congratulate Paul
as he is being honored with the James Renwick Alliance 2013 Masters of
Medium Award for Glass during Spring Craft Weekend this weekend. His glass
mastery can be found in his creation of lifelike honeybees, delicate
blossoms and ripe fruit that appear to be floating in the clear glass.
