The beautiful home studio has been open to the public for over six years. Our artists specialize in custom glasswork and art glass of every style, including, fusing, lampworking, and furnace working. One-of-a-kind art glass includes stemware, goblets, custom glass beads, suncatchers and lighting. Art glass classes are taught privately giving the student the freedom to explore their own talents at their own pace. Classes can be bundled with open studio time so students can practice new skills before moving on. All materials are included in each class; no hidden additional fees. Artist Information Brook Hoskins - Brook is the head artist at Wildfire Glass Studio. He is known for his contemporary- venetian borosilicate lampworked art glass. Although mostly self - taught, Mr. Hoskins has studied with famous lampworkers Emilio Santini and Robert Mickelsen After receiving a grant from the Coleman Foundation of Chicago to build his studio, Brook opened Wildfire to the public for classes and rental time. Brook teaches our advanced lampworking and fusing classes. Kristan Green - Kristan has been an artist at Wildfire for six years. Kristan is know for her custom glass bead and button work and tiny solid sculpture pieces. Ms. Green has done lampworking demonstrations all over the country, priding herself on "trying anything". Kristan teaches the beginning bead classes. |
